For many years I have been an official APC (Assessment of Professional Competence) Chairman and Assessor for RICS. I have mentored and guided Trainee Surveyors and appraised Candidates. This role is enormously rewarding, helping to promote new recruits and fresh perspectives for the future. Don’t forget for those who are entering Surveying there are many guidance manuals and journals to understand and complete each module on the RICS website. There are also many veterans who will give up their time to provide insight and knowledge.
