Representative Body

The Representative Body was established by Royal Charter in 1919 and is responsible for looking after the assets of the Church in Wales to ensure that resources are available for the benefit of the whole Church.

The Representative Body meets three times a year and is made up of up to 26 church members from across the Church. Some have been brought in because of the position they hold (for example the Archbishop, or the Chairmen of the Diocesan Boards of Finance), others for particular experience in related areas (property, banking, investments).
