Compulsory Purchase Order – Don’t Panic

You have been handed a Compulsory Purchase Order (CPO) for your land and/or buildings as part of a major redevelopment. Don’t panic, engage with a Specialist Surveyor and Solicitor. When you receive the CPO Notice, you must file a formal written objection within the strict deadline (usually 21 days from the Notice). CPOs can take from 12 months to 3 years, however it is important to secure advice from specialist professionals from the start. Chris Clarke Surveyors has worked with many claimants and acquiring authorities over the years and has a large network of contacts to assist and support you through this bewildering and challenging process.
